Pumpkin Carving Workshop at Tuggles
Join us on October 8th from 3:30-5 at Tuggles Gifts & Goods for a one time pumpkin carving experience!
This 90 minute workshop is the perfect autumn activity & is suitable for all age ranges (8+ recommended with guardians present.) . You get to do the fun part of creating a ceramic jack-o-lantern THE CARVING!
Oxford Interpreting & Consulting is available to provide ASL interpreting, making this event inclusive and accessible for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. If you are a part of said community and would like to utilize said services, please note that in the specified form at check out.
How it works:
You will get to choose from a range of jack-o-lantern shapes, maybe you’d like a short and wide one, or a tall and narrow one.
You’ll get right to work on crafting your ideal jack-o-lantern face, with as much or as little guidance from me as you’d prefer.
And then you’ll carve it out, just like you would a true pumpkin.
Once your jack-o-lantern face is complete you will choose what glaze color you’d like it to be. The options will be: cream, white, or orange.
In 2-3 weeks you will receive an email letting you know your jack-o-lanterns are ready to pick up at Tuggles Gifts & Goods! Just in time for Halloween!
Jack-o-lanterns are indoor/outdoor safe once completed
Tuggles Gifts & Goods is not only kind enough to facilitate the workshop space, but they even offer a 10% discount to workshop participants that shop in store day of.
